    The camp begins on January 4th, 2005 and accepts individual registrations until February 11th.

    From February 14th until March 26th, only group registrations (minimum 15 students for a group) will be accepted. The minimum stay is two weeks. Children from age 8 to 18 years can participate in the Winter Youth Camp 2005. They will be separated into to groups according to their respective age - “Group A” includes children from 8 to 12 years old and “Group B” includes children aged 13 to 18 year sold. Children participating in the Homestay Program, in conjunction with the Winter Camp should arrive on Saturday or Sunday. Children can start their Winter Youth Camp on any Monday. They will be required to arrive at the Intrax Vancouver Centre by 9:00 am on the first Monday of registration.

    There is a wide range of winter sports and educational activities every week. Our philosophy is to integrate English learning with fun activities every day. Activities include ice skating, snow tubing, arts and crafts, group games, and off-site visits to such attractions as Science World, the Vancouver Aquarium, the Vancouver Central Library, and Granville Island. Optional activities are also offered on Saturdays. Pre-registration is mandatory for the Sunday optional activities.

    Students stay in safe and friendly homestays. Our homestays are all screened for excellence and the families are carefully selected. Intrax has developed a trusting relationship with these families, and takes special care when placing children. Intrax will give you complete details of your student’s host family before they arrive in Vancouver. For children 12 years and under, daily escorted transfer service to and from the camp is mandatory.
