The Olympics will start on February 4. Are you excited? 大家好，我是冰墩墩——北京冬奥会的吉祥物。冬奥会将于2022年2月4日开幕，你期待吗？ I wear a helmet. It’s made of ice. This is my friend, Shuey Rhon Rhon (雪容融). It is a red lantern. 我的头盔是冰做的哦！我还有个朋友——雪容融，它是一盏可爱的红灯笼！ What winter sports can you do? There are 7 sports in the Olympics, such as skiing (滑雪), skating (滑冰) and ice hockey (冰球). Which ones will you watch? 你会做什么冬季运动呢？北京冬奥会有七大类运动项目，比如：滑雪、滑冰、冰球。你会看哪些项目的比赛呢？
The Olympics have 25 venues (场馆). Let’s look at two of them. 北京冬奥会共有25个场馆，让我们来看看其中的两个吧！ Ice Ribbon “冰丝带” Speed skating events (速滑赛事) will be here. This venue uses CO2 (二氧化碳) to make ice. 速滑赛事将会在这里举办，这个场馆是用二氧化碳制冰的哦！ Snow Ruyi “雪如意” It looks like a jade ruyi (玉如意). In China, a jade ruyi stands for luck. Some ski sports will be here. 这个场馆看起来像“玉如意”。在中国，玉如意代表幸运。一些滑雪比赛将会在这里举办！ |
