Here electromagnetic induction (EMI) heating is used to harden the coating evenly on the deep-drawn cap in seconds. In the past, the procedure has been to coat the aluminium first and then deep-draw the cap. The ravages of time have gnawed away at the Bendern buildings since then, and a refurbishment had been on the agenda for some time.
